The Ridgeway & District Garden Club fosters an interest in gardening and horticulture, particularly conservation, through knowledge sharing, public awareness, and supporting home and community beautification projects. We aim to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our members to connect, socialize, and share their passion for horticulture.

Founded in 1926, our club began as a group of individuals seeking to learn more about gardening and assist others in their own endeavours. Despite our growing membership, our core philosophy remains steadfast.

Our offerings include speakers, workshops, horticultural shows, and floral design. We also focus on conservation efforts to protect local natural areas, cultivation and care of indoor and outdoor plants, garden planning and landscape design, practical applications of plants, herbs, compost, and other materials, and support for community beautification projects.
